TOURNAMENT RESULTS
Saturday, July 10th, Top Bass held it’s fourth tournament of the season, on Missaukee Lake. This event was named “The Frank’s Great Outdoors – Challenge 1”, after one of our great sponsors.
The weather for the tournament was P. Cloudy, with about 8 mph winds and temp’s in the upper 70’s.
The fishing turned out to be very tough, with one of the smallest weigh-ins that we have had. Only 5 limits came to the scales, with most others having just 1-3 fish. We also had 13 anglers who did not have fish to weigh-in. A total of only 96 bass were weighed in.
Congratulations to Billy Booth, from Midland, who won the tournament with a limit @ 11.29#. In Second Place was Bill Hurley, from Waterford, who’s limit was 11.17#. Mike Sielinski, from Gladwin, finished in 3rd Place with a limit @ 10.93#. Fourth Place went to Elmer Daniels, from Jackson, with 4 fish @ 10.56#. Kevin Vida, from Clare held down 5th Place with a limit @ 9.97#. Mitch Waite, from Clare had Big Bass for the tournament @ 4.24#.
