TOURNAMENT RESULTS
Shoe’s Top Bass Tournament Trail held its 7th tournament of the 2024 season, on Missaukee Lake in Lake City, MI on August 3rd, 2024.
This tournament was named “The Dick’s Sporting Goods Open” after one of our great sponsors. Dick’s Sporting Goods has been one of our very loyal sponsors, for many years. So whenever you have any sporting goods needs, check them out first, you won’t be sorry that you did.
The weather for the tournament was warm with temp in the low 80’s, and windy at the half way point with the winds blowing at 10-14mph.
The fishing was the toughest that we have had this season. The tough bite allowed only 18 limits, and many other bags with 1-4 fish. There were only 4 bass over 3 pounds that came to the scales.
Congratulations to Mike Sielinski, from Gladwin who ran away with the win, by 1 ½ pounds with a limit at 12.96#. Peter Jones from Midland, captured Second Place with his limit at 11.35#. Third Place went to Travis Vida, from Clare with a limit at 11.11#
Andy Maier, from Midland held down Fourth Place with 10.81#. Big Bass for the event, went to Mark Reinke, from Gladwin with 3.54#. Thanks to everyone who stayed after the tournament to help with the tear down.
